Back in 2017, I started my journey as a future doctor by getting admission to medical college. However, I ended up spending most of my time in the first two years learning about SEO, blogging, marketing, and how to earn money online, among other things. Before I knew it, final exams arrived and I failed. It was a natural outcome. Subsequently, I attempted two other degrees, failing at each one before deciding to pursue a career as a Software Engineer. Quite a crazy journey!
Through failures, rejections, and insults, I learned valuable lessons. Self-taught learning became my only companion to keep moving forward. My first job was as a VueJs developer for a Malaysian ERP company. Regrettably, I later left the role due to differences in tech stack preferences. Reflecting on this, I realize my mistake and feel remorseful towards my first client. He imparted essential lessons that every fresh software engineer should have. Over the past two years, from 2022 to 2024, I've acquired numerous learnings that are too vast to list here. Currently, I am working with a VR startup as a founding developer. I find immense satisfaction in my work, especially when our growth team achieves success.
My ultimate goal is to evolve into a better Software Engineer, an Entrepreneur, and to stay updated with the latest trends in technology.
